In a foreign job scam, a syndicate associated with QNET allegedly held hundreds of individuals captive in Lagos
Detectives from the Ejigbo Division of the Lagos State Command have uncovered houses used by a suspicious company called Qnet to hold innocent Nigerians captive. The company allegedly collected large sums of money from victims, promising them lucrative foreign job opportunities. The victims, who sold their properties and gave the money to the syndicate, were then left stranded in the houses in Ejigbo. Some victims lodged complaints with the police, leading to the arrest of Abraham Olamide, one of the syndicate's leaders. The case has been brought before the Magistrate Court, while investigations continue to apprehend other syndicate members.
