Court awards Biodun Fatoyinbo N1million, dismisses Busola Dakolo’s rape suit.
At a High Court in Bwari, Abuja. it has struck out the rape suit filed against the Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth Assembly of Zion (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo, by famous photographer Busola Dakolo.
Justice Oathman Musa, ruling on Thursday, argued that the case led to discrimination and misuse of judicial proceedings since the trial was hollow and solely emotional.
In addition, the court awarded Busola with a fine of N1 million, adding that the fine could be 10times more because of waste of court's time
After Fatoyinbo had filed the Court's objections and a complaint and argued that N50 million for damages. He ruled that Busola's claims had been false and compelled to embarrass, scandalize and mock him
He argued that she had been looking for the media and the press since the beginning and had brought a civil action, although police investigation are ongoing.
