Vice President Yemi Osinbajo visit parents of dead corps member

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has arrived in Kaduna to commiserate with the mother and father of Precious Owolabi, the youth corps member who was killed on Monday, in the course of the face-off between Shiite protesters and the Nigerian police in Abuja.

Owolabi used to be working for Channels TV until his death.

Osinbajo is accompanied by Governor Nasir El-Rufai, who received him at Kaduna Airforce Base, according to a tweet via Osinbajo’s spokesman, Laolu Akande.

The dad and mom of Owolabi stay in the university town of Zaria.

He wrote on twitter;

“Nothing will ever compare with the ache of losing a child.

This evening, I visited the family of Precious Owolabi and as a nation, we grieve the loss of this shiny younger man.

May the Almighty God relief the family and loved ones”.
