SAD: Police still ‘investigating’ kidnap of Siasia’s mother
The Police Command in Bayelsa State has said that its
personnel are working round the clock to ensure that the kidnapped mother of
Samson Siasia, Nigeria’s former Super Eagles player, is rescued from her
captors.
The Police Command in Bayelsa State has said that its

Siasia that was kidnaped.
Bayelsa police spokesman, Asinim Butswat, told the News
Agency of Nigeria (NAN) said via a text message on Sunday that rescue efforts
were nonetheless on.
Beauty Siasia, 79, has now been in her captors’ hands for
two weeks after she was kidnapped on July 15 with two others in Odoni
community, Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa.
His mom was kidnapped with a woman, Florence Douanana, 65,
and her 17-year-old daughter, Selekire Douanana.
The Commissioner of Police, Uche Anozia, had visited the scene
of the kidnap twice and deployed police marines to comb the creeks of the
location in search of the kidnapped victims.
