Olusegun Mimiko, Femi Fani-Kayode, Sanwo-Olu, Others Attend Reuben Fasoranti Daughter's Burial

Former Ondo State governor, Olusegun Mimiko, former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun and Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo, have attended the burial of Funke Olakunrin, daughter of the leader of Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti.

Mrs. Olakunrin was buried on Monday at the cemetery of St. David’s Cathedral Anglican Church, Akure, Ondo State.

Also at the burial were; Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti, governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Senator Iyiola Omisore; and former minister of communications, Omobola Johnson.

Akeredolu, on behalf of other South-West governors, said they were bent on facing security challenges in the region head-on.

“It is a serious security challenge but we are prepared to face the challenge, don’t doubt it.

“Something drastic and urgent has to be done and we are determined to do it, there is no other way,” he said.
