During a heated argument with her husband, a woman tragically took the lives of her two children before ending her own.
Amid sorrowful circumstances, two siblings who were fatally stabbed by their mother during a disturbance at their residence in Rongai, Kajiado County, Kenya, have been laid to rest.
Their father, Andrew Karim, aged 30, narrowly escaped death when he fled the house, bleeding, and sought assistance from neighbors who promptly rushed him to a nearby healthcare facility. Andrew's wife, Christine Karimi, stabbed him in the head and neck three times after he returned home at midnight. Subsequently, she targeted their two children, stabbing them, before attempting suicide on June 8, 2023.
Neighbors reported that the couple had been experiencing domestic issues at their home in Taaria Apartments along Maasai Lodge Road. The altercation between Andere and Karimi turned tragic when she attacked him with multiple stabs upon his arrival home after 1 am.
According to the Police, Karimi, aged 28, locked the doors and proceeded to allegedly kill her two children, Amani Otieno (6) and Tyrel Agogo (2), by stabbing them. She then turned the knife on herself but survived the incident.
On social media, Andere's brother, known as ceodidathebrandofficial, shared photographs from the children's funeral on July 4, expressing his profound grief. He also posted a picture of Andere mourning at the funeral, acknowledging the immense pain and promising his unwavering support for his brother during this indescribable sorrow.
