Naira Marley Fraud trial resumes on tuesday
Popular singer, Naira Marley is back in court on Tuesday for further proceedings on the charges of fraud.
The hearings, originally scheduled for Tuesday, was delayed for one day because the court did not sit.
The defense and prosecution lawyers were however also available and seen at the trial.
He was arrested in May by the EFCC on charges of conniving Yad Isril (widely) with the card issued to other citizens with the intention of profit, in violation of Section 27(1)(b) of the Cybercrimes Prohibition, Prevention Act 2015.
The Federal High Court Justice Nicholas Oweibo, based in Lagos, granted him a bail of N2 million with guarantees in the same amount on 31 May.
After 14 days in custody, he was finally released.
Reports indicated that at his next court appearance, witnesses would be available to testify.
