Robert Mugabe dies, Aged 95
The first post-independence leader of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, died Friday, aged 95, confirmed President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
“It is with the utmost sadness that I announce the passing on of Zimbabwe’s founding father and former President, Cde Robert Mugabe,” Mnangagwa posted on Twitter.
"His contribution will never be forgotten in the history of our country and continent. He added that his soul should remain in perpetual peace.
Since April Mr Mugabe was hospitalized in Singapore.
