Police Stop protests from burning down Shoprite

There is an ongoing protest at Lugbe along the Abuja airport highway as the teargas canister was fired by police to prevent the protesting youth from burning down a shoprite store in the region.

Armed policemen have prevented the demonstrators on the brink of setting the shop-rite ablaze.

The youth on the express highway set a bonfire and vowed not to leave the region until their mission was accomplished. To restore law and order, more armed policemen were deployed to the region.

Hundreds of motorists caught in the crashes are stuck on the highway as a vehicle motion has been paralyzed in the region
