Buhari is over qualified to contest for election - Petition Tribunal says
The Petition Tribunal for Presidential Elections on Wednesday said President Buhari is overqualified to contest For the 2019 election
The tribunal held that the Nigerian Army Buhari's certificate is greater than that set out in the Constitution as the minimum educational obligation for elections.
The Chairman of the Court-of-Appeal committee said that Buhari is not only eligible but is eminently eligible." Mr Mohammed spoke this about his questioning of Mr Buhari's re-elections while reading his judgment in the petition tabled by Atiku Abubakar and the PDP.
The tribunal ruled that proof concerning the credentials of Mr. Buhari should not be depended on because the initial creators of the document were not the PDP.
Mister Abubakar and the PDP had contended, among other things, through their lead counsel, Livy Uzoukwu, that Buhari was not qualified to have disputed and provided the wrong information
