Ifeyinwa Nwaogu Echibe Mother Of Three Diagnosed With Cancer | Details of How to Help
Hello friends and family. I will like to share a little bit about my dear friend Ifeyinwa Nwaogu Echibe (fondly goes by Ify). Ify is a 41year old lady, married to Ik Echibe (Anthony), and they have 3 children together, Paschal 12,Chichebem 5, and Maduabuchi, 3years old. In February 2015 while Ify was breastfeeding her 8 months old son at the time, she noticed a lump on her right breast. She told her husband Ik and they immediately had it checked out. Unfortunately when the biopsy came back, Ify was not only diagnosed to have Metastatic Breast Cancer, The cancer had spread to her lymph nodes, lungs and Lumbar spine.
Ify aggressively and quickly went through her first round of Chemotherapy in 2015, but the cancer continued to spread. Lately it was discovered that the cancer cells has spread to Ify’s bones, and most recently more active in her cervical spine. With the most recent results, Ify started another round of Chemotherapy and Radiation with her local doctors, but treatment has not been as aggressive as it was initially. Ify’s treatment and hospitalization has put a stein financial burden on her family which is a single income household coming from her husband Ik (Anthony)’s job at USPS.
Ify is beautiful inside and outside, she is kind, gentle, very loving, and extremely fun to be around. She is an awesome mother to her children and caring wife to her husband. Ify is very strong and full of life. We strongly believe that Ify can fight this cancer, but we need your help. Her spirit is very high and her faith is the strongest. Please help us raise the funds to get Ify to a Cancer Research Center for a more aggressive treatment within the next two months. Your help will guarantee Ify is exhausting more available options. We also pray that your help will possibly guarantee Ify to witness her children transition into adulthood and be there to plan for her only daughter “Chichebem’s” wedding. With her family and friends knowing that she deserves better, we will not relent in any effort to care for her and her entire family. Your support will honestly be appreciated.
