33 year old female teacher charged with r@p!ng, s3xually abusing 14-year-old student

On Tuesday, August 22, in Queens, New York, a middle school teacher was taken into custody by the police on charges of allegedly sexually assaulting and raping a 14-year-old student.

The accused, Melissa Rockensies, a 33-year-old teacher at Corona Arts and Sciences Academy, was arrested around 10:30 a.m. in Queens. The NYPD has charged Rockensies with rape, criminal sexual acts, and engaging in behavior harmful to a minor under the age of 17.

According to a spokesperson from the Department of Education (DOE), Rockensies, who earned approximately $85,000 the previous year, has been reassigned from the school while the case is under investigation. The spokesperson expressed deep concern over the alleged behavior, deeming it entirely unacceptable. They added that if Rockensies is convicted, the DOE will terminate her employment.

Interestingly, a Facebook post dated October 2021, allegedly from Rockensies' account, discussed ways to teach children about consent. The post recommended that adults should ask children if they want to hug a relative instead of insisting on it. It also emphasized the importance of parents conveying to their children that they should not keep secrets from their family.
