Nnamdi Kanu has a meeting with his preferred specialist doctors outside the DSS facility.

Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has had a meeting with his personal physicians at a hospital in Abuja, outside the Department of State Services (DSS) facility where he is being held. This information was confirmed by his lead counsel, Sir Ifeanyi Ejiofor, in a statement.

According to the statement, the medical examination went smoothly and was productive, and Kanu will be progressing to the next stage of his health evaluation soon. The statement also mentioned that Kanu has consistently expressed his stance on the sit-at-home directive, stating that it should be stopped.

The legal team of Nnamdi Kanu, led by Prof. Mike Ozekhome, SAN, along with the leadership of IPOB, have been vocal in conveying this message through various media platforms and condemning criminal activities related to the sit-at-home order.

The statement urged the public to respect and adhere to Kanu's wishes, refraining from engaging with those who seek to keep him in captivity and promote unauthorized sit-at-home orders, which could have detrimental effects on the Southeast region.

It was asserted in the statement that those who oppose Kanu and his cause have failed, and the law will ultimately catch up with them.
