On Twitter on Wednesday evening, Othniel Anselm, a software developer claiming to be Jemima's brother to one of the victims, reported the accident.
Mr. Othniel said that Jemima was studying statistics at Jos University in her sophomore year, while Jennifer, with whom she commuted, was in her finals.
He said the incident happened on October 20 when Jemima was going to church.
"It was a disaster what was supposed to be a harmless drive, when some drunk driving a BMW, left the lane climbed a road barricade, struck my sister's' Keke,' and her friend stumbled in three occasions," Othniel wrote.
"After celebrating overnight, the drunk driver with his birthday confessed to being intoxicated on Sunday. The incident has survived. On the spot died the Keke driver.
