Hummer Crashed Into Oba Of Benin's Palace Wall, wall remains untouched

Yesterday,motorist and people in Benin City, Edo's state capital, were shocked to the scene of a collision.

The accident was a Hummer 2 SUV that rowed into the palace wall of Benin's Oba.

The shock of the passengers and car drivers was not due to the impact. Rather, it was because the effect of the Hummer on the wall did not harm the old wall of the palace. The hummer was badly damaged, instead.

Remember that one of the remaining remnants of old Benin is the earthen (mud) wall of the Oba of Benin. Oba Palace is one of the many tourist attractions in the old city together with the ancient Benin moats.
