Manchester City Tops Latest Football Ranking

Manchester City have been rated the best team in the world while their neighbor’s Manchester united find themselves in 17th position behind the likes of German sides RB Leipzig and Leverkusen and also several of their Premier League rivals



The ranking which was compiled by Football analysts at FiveThirtyEight have released their latest rankings of professional football clubs across the world based on a highly-detailed index

The rankings take are based on a team’s overall ability which have been calculated with an offensive and defensive rating, which is then used to calculate a Soccer Power Index (SPI).

Before a season begins, a team’s SPI ratings are based on two factors: their ratings at the end of the previous season and the club’s market value.
