As the 2016 FIFA U17 Women's World Cup enters the knockout phase, President of Jordan Football Association, Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, has expressed delight at the success recorded thus far in the tournament.

In the 24 group matches played across four stadiums in three cities, there were no security issues or casualties to report.

And in terms of the World cup's impact on the country, football is gaining more exposure in the country.

It is the first ever Women's World Cup in the Middle East  and the host nation, Jordan were knocked out in the group stage in spite of scoring a historic goal in their match against Mexico.

However, Prince Ali, who is also the President of West Asia Football Association told Sports Attack that he was impressed with their performance and is looking forward to their development.

Mexico vs Venezuela 4pm Jordanian time (6pm Nigerian time)

Germany vs Spain 7pm Jordanian time (9pm Nigerian time)
