Ex-Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Lassana Diarra snubs West Ham for Marseille
The Frenchman almost joined the Hammers in January but a dispute with his former club Lokomotiv Moscow scuppered the deal.
That disagreement regarding compensation was resolved by FIFA last week and the player is now free to join any club he wishes.
And, according to L'Equipe, Diarra has decided to move to Marseille and should complete a switch before the weekend.
The French club have offered the 30-year-old a four-year deal and beat off several sides in securing his signature.
Fenerbahce reportedly made an approach, along with three Premier League clubs - including one who played in the Champions League.
