The biggest fashion event of the year takes place on Monday night, but Solange Knowles decided to hold her own style parade 24 hours before the 2015 Met Gala.

Stepping out in New York for a charity benefit on Sunday evening, the 28-year-old singer turned heads thanks to her quirky wardrobe.

Solange paired a bright green floor length dress with matching trousers, flashing a hint of skin as she left her buttons undone.
