Teenage girl kidnaps her cousin for N6m ransom
For criminal conspiracy and abduction of her five-year-old cousin, the command of the Police arrested an 18-year-old lady, Hadiza Babayo.
One Muhammad, the victim's 7-year-old brother, identified the suspect. The master mind was said to have selected the victim in a Nayi-Nawa neighborhood hotel and delivered himto her accomplice.
"Hadiza Babayo, the daughter of my older brother came to pick my two kids, Muhammad and Aischatu. After that, Muhammad came crying and told that Hadiza had come to pick them and she told him not to go back and wait until they got Keke Napep."
The arrest and interrogation of Hadiza led to the arrest of her accomplice, Bala Shuaibu, who had earlier demanded N6million ransom for the release of the kid.
He confessed the crime and said how Bala and she kidnapped the victims of Gombe High School and kept the victim in a hotel, demanding a restitution of N6 million from the father of the victim.
