Yahaya Bello Hasn’t Completed A Project In Four Years-Simon Achuba

Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Simon Achuba, has accused governor Yahaya Bello, of not completing any project in the state since 2016.

Achuba has been at loggerheads with Bello who is stated to have withheld his deputy’s allowances amounting to N800 million.

In an interview, Achuba said the governor never told him what his offence were. He, however, said Bello ought to be indignant at him due to the fact of his insistence “that the right things be done.”

“You flag off project right here today; you go to any other place, you flag off again; you continue to flag off tasks without some thing being completed, and you get returned to meet these equal people. What are you going to tell them?” Achuba stated of Bello.

When asked if the governor had absolutely not carried out any undertaking in 4 years, he said: “Essentially, that is what it is. There is no significant assignment that has been introduced to one hundred percent completion …that he commenced that has bought to a hundred percent completion…. No!”
