Bobrisky arrested

Wike has announced the arrest of a cultist, Bobrisky of Gokana, less than 24 hours after a 30million naira bounty was once placed on him.

Wike confirmed the arrest on Friday, announcing that he will redeem his pledge of economic reward for the capture.

Speaking at some point of a security meeting with leaders of Rumuolumeni Community at the Government House Port Harcourt, Governor Wike thanked the Nigerian Army for capturing the suspected cultist.

“The army has captured Bobrisky of Gokana. I will pay the bounty that I promised to the Nigerian Army.

“Anyone who generates insecurity in Rivers State, I am prepared to pay any amount to make sure the arrest of that person,” he said

The governor called on neighborhood leaders to supply records to the state protection council on criminals in their communities for the protection groups to act frontally to reduce crime.

Meanwhile, social media personality, Idris Okunneye, also popularly recognized as Bobrisky, has come out to say he is not the one wanted for criminal activities in Rivers State.
