Google Honours Late Florence Onyebuchi ''Buchi'' Emecheta

Today we join google to honour Nigerian author, Florence Onyebuchi also known as Buchi Emecheta on What would have been her 75th birthday. FLorence Onyebuchi Emecheta was born (21 July 1944- 25 January 2017) was a Nigerian-born British novelist, based in the Uk from 1962, who also wrote plays and autobiography, as well as works for children.

She was a trail blazer who used her work effectively to question harmful social practices around marginalisation of women and girls, patriarchal oppression, racism, poverty and social exclusion.
