Nicole Scherzinger And Her Ex Lewis No Longer In Speaking Terms
Today on E! , it was reported that Nicole Scherzinger and her ex Lewis Hamilton no longer speak. They report:
Nicole Scherzinger is no longer in contact with Lewis Hamilton, but that doesn't mean the exes are at odds. The former couple ended their eight-year, on-and-off relationship in 2015, and Scherzinger, 38, rebounded with dating tennis player Grigor Dimitrov, 25, in July 2016. Lewis, meanwhile, has been linked to a number of models since calling it off with the "Poison" singer.
In Saturday's episode of ITV's The Jonathan Ross Show, Scherzinger explains why it's for the best that she keeps her distance from the Formula 1 racer, 31. "I don't see anything negative; I think it's quite natural when people separate and go their own ways. You just have to be adult about it and just always wish the other person happiness, success and love—like, sincerely—and I do," she admits. "We don't, like, talk."
"I think he is the best driver since Ayrton Senna, and I think that he's probably going to win this year," she says. "I only wish him happiness and success."
Scherzinger adds that her relationship with Dimitrov is different, in large part, because she is different. After fronting the bands Days of the New, Eden's Crush and The Pussycat Dolls, she embarked on a solo career nine years ago. And music was—and still is—Scherzinger's first love.
"I've probably matured a little later in relationships and [in] my life, because I started at such a young age," she explains. "I was in my first group when I was 18. I was always so focused on working so much, so I didn't have much time for relationships. I feel like I was just able to get to experience things a little later after work...As you get older, you find more balance in life."
Scherzinger, who appears as a guest on The Jonathan Ross Show alongside Gino D'Acampo, Shawn Mendes and Stephen Merchant, says the realization came with "experience and age."
After her relationship with Hamilton ended, Scherzinger did some soul searching. In time, the "Wet" singer finally figured out who she is and what she loves. "I think it's really important if you are in a relationship, no matter who you are," she says. "You have to be happy first and love yourself first and be whole before you can really give your everything in a relationship."
