Gunmen kidnap 14 oil workers and driver in Rivers state
No fewer than 15people have been kidnapped by gunmen. the abduction took place on a road connecting
the towns of Omoku and Elele, around 50 km (30 miles) from the city of
Port Harcourt, Rivers state, in the early hours of Friday as the
employees of Nigerian energy company Nestoil traveled to work, police
said.
The vehicle they were all in on their way to work before the incident occurred has been recovered after being abandoned by the Gunmen.
