THE FAIREST SPECTACLE
By Michael Idiong
As fate will have it, I managed to find this beauty, set upon the highest gardens of Ecclesia. More beautiful than the Agapanthus plant in all its blue glory, the lily of the Nile, wearing a blue dress, her hair falling over her subtle brown breasts long and braided, wanting to command the scene and stay fierce and beautiful, not like Samson's downfall.
Her beautiful mouth a touch of purple, with the most beautiful lips in the land. Her eyes had sparks, like Zeus's bolts, as if the clouds were about to darken, and rain pour down on the earth. I stared at her so much and moved closer, removing my crown. Journeyed over hundreds of lakes, hunters paths, storms, forests to find this rumored garden, to find the fairest spectacle. Moving closer, she wore simple cream trousers, which only showed her broad hips, with simple sandal like slippers, Thighs going on through my head in the 1000 nights I spent on death roads. Just as the ballads had told, her hips broke curses, and I was tempted to go closer to kneel and kiss her hands. She knew what it was like to reach Ecclesia. So she knew I deserved one night in her arms. And when she smiled, I heard voices and chants in the air as 7 beautiful Virgins emerged and danced round this godlike brown princess, chanting in foreign Ecclesian tongues. The gardens of Ecclesia floated above the highest trees in the land and in the skies, she took me in the arms, and kissed my mouth for what seemed like an eternity, her eyes like sparks of fire. My purple robe falling to the ground, beautiful Virgins dancing around and singing round the fairest spectacle. This Prince was laid down to rest, for it was rumored her kisses was like a malevolent wind of pleasure. I pray this be my lover, for I was totally lost and taken and consumed by her beauty, for another 1000years a beautiful Prince from Ridenia.
