Former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy has been handed a coaching role at PSV
Ex-Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy will join PSV Eindhoven as a coach next season.
The
39-year-old, who retired from playing four years ago, will become a
specialist strikers coach for the under-17, U19 and reserve teams.
Van
Nistelrooy is currently Danny Blind’s assistant at Holland but he will
leave to re-join PSV, where he played for three seasons.
“I’m
really looking forward to my new job at PSV, where I’m going to help the
young attackers maximise their potential," he said.
Van Nistelrooy scored 150 goals for United after his £19m move from PSV in 2001
