8 killed, many injured as bomb blast rocks Adamawa MArket

 



No fewer than 8 people have been killed in a bomb blast that happened today at Gombi local movement in Adamawa State.  Two suicide bombers reportedly blew themselves at the grain section of the international market in Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State, killing atleast eight persons and injuring about twenty eight others. this report was made known by the Northeast Information Officer of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Abdulkadir Ibrahim.

The attack is suspected to have been masterminded by Boko Haram insurgents as the market, which attracts people from Cameroon and other neighbouring countries, is in a local government that shares boundary with the dreaded Sambisa forest.
