Godswill Akpabio Sacked From The Senate, Court orders rerun election

Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio, has been sacked from the National Assembly.

The chieftain of the the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was two-term governor of Akwa Ibom State.

According to SaharaReporters, the Court of Appeal on Thursday announced that violations to the Electoral Act during the senatorial election between Akpabio and the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Inibehe Okori informed their ruling.

The Court reportedly ordered a rerun election in 90 days
