A petrol-laden truck on Thursday fell and crushed a commercial bus

This happened yesterday at Osogbo, though no life was lost in the crash. According to eye witnesses, the 33,000-litre capacity fuel tank pulled off from the vehicle when it ran into a big pothole on the road.

Some residents were said to have trooped out on seeing fuel gushing out from the tanker and started scooping fuel from the crashed tanker.

Police and Civil Defence officials were able to seal up the area and ensure that residents were fenced away from the scene in case of fire outbreak.
