Still Together! Wizkid Explains his Account was Hacked as Nigerians React to ‘Single and enjoying life’ Tweet

Yesterday was Wizkid’s birthday and to celebrate with him his girlfriend Tania Omotayo shared a sweet message saying ‘Happy birthday to my Baby Boy!!! Love you beyond words!!! We’ve really been through 18-25 sha’.

A few hours after her post went up, a tweet was sent from Wizkid’s official account that said ’25, single and enjoying life! Blessings’.

Immediately Twitter users reacted to it with a lot of people seeing the tweet as a diss to Tania.

Wizkid has however set the record straight and according to him, his account was hacked.

Simple.

The Starboy CEO has gotten tons of birthday wishes on Twitter and Instagram in the past 24 hours and while he has replied most of them. Luckily, the ‘single and enjoying life’ tweet is the only tweet from his account in the past 24 hours that has caused some sort of controversy.

Weather it was real tweet or some mischevious fellows, time will tell but for now we wish them the best.
