FIRE AT THE LAGOS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

There was a fire incident at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Ikeja, Lagos State. The incident occurred at about 13:00 (local time) today (01/04) affecting the arrival wing of MMIA. Everyone was evacuated from the area and the fire service managed to put off the fire. There were no casualty reported. Normal operations has resumed. The fire was suspected to has been caused by an electrical failure.
